Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Frontier Media Inc. ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use thestockmemo.com (The Stock Memo). It is written for readers in the United States. Because the operator is a Canadian company, it also reflects Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Personal information is information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. An IP address can be personal information.
1. Who is responsible
Frontier Media Inc.
1500-1874 Scarth Street
Regina, Saskatchewan S4P 4E9
Canada
Email: contact@frontiermediainc.ca
Phone: +1 306 518-7537
We have not named a separate privacy officer. Send privacy requests to the contact details above.
2. What we collect
The site has no user accounts and does not ask you to create a profile.
When you open a page, the host receives the technical data a browser sends with a request:
- IP address
- date and time
- the page you requested and the referring address
- browser type and operating system
We use that data to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose failures. We do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.
Prices and company figures on the site come from market-data services. Those requests identify a security, not you.
If you email or call us, we keep the message and the contact details you give us so we can reply.
3. Analytics and advertising
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Audience measurement and tag managers are not active on this site. If we turn either on later, we will update this policy before any new collection starts. We do not use advertising cookies.
4. Service providers
Vendors process data only so we can run the site:
- Vercel hosts the website and receives the technical request data described above.
- Supabase stores our published content and market statistics. Your browser may request public market figures from Supabase. That request does not include an account identifier, because there are no accounts.
We do not sell your information to these vendors.
5. How long we keep it
Server logs stay only as long as the host keeps them for security and operations. Messages you send us stay for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, then they are deleted or kept with ordinary business records.
6. United States state privacy rights
Several states give residents the right to access, delete, and correct personal information, to opt out of the sale of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to appeal a refusal. Those rights apply only where the state law applies to us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising, so there is no sale or targeted-advertising choice to opt out of.
If a state law gives you a right to access, delete, or correct personal information we hold, or to appeal our decision on a request, email contact@frontiermediainc.ca. We will answer within the time that law requires. We may ask you to confirm that the request is yours.
7. California
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to businesses that meet its revenue or volume thresholds. We do not believe those thresholds apply to The Stock Memo today.
If you are a California resident:
- We do not sell or share personal information as those words are used in that statute.
- We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information in a way that requires a "limit the use" link.
- You may ask what personal information we have, and you may ask us to delete or correct it, by emailing contact@frontiermediainc.ca.
We will not treat you differently for making a request.
8. Children
The Stock Memo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Canada (PIPEDA)
Frontier Media Inc. is a Canadian corporation and handles personal information in the course of a commercial activity. Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, challenge its accuracy, and withdraw consent where we rely on consent, subject to legal limits. Send requests to the contact details in section 1. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date.
